My name is Ms. Candy, owner and Childcare provider. My home childcare is registered with the state of Texas. I was raised in Kansas. My husband and I have three children of our own. I have worked in many different industries, starting early with babysitting jobs, and helping with the afterschool program. After high school, I began with child development receiving a degree in early childhood education. I also recieved a degree and worked in nursing and then I decided to have a home daycare. I had a licensed home daycare in Kansas for many years before moving to Texas. Ive worked with children for 22 years now.

I am dedicated to creating a nurturing, stimulating, and welcoming environment for all children. My program incorporates various educational theories while always keeping the child’s best interest in mind and allowing for hands-on, experiential learning.


With a clear background check, fingerprinted, hold a current Infant/Child/Adult CPR and First Aid Certificate, and have taken numerous child-related educational workshops with certifications over many years and continue regularly to do so. I am an experienced, qualified, and professional childcare provider ready to care for your child.
I build on the strengths and interests of each child to help build a solid foundation where they can develop their future.

My Family Childcare Home is open from 530am to 530pm Mon-Fri.

I offer a clean and safe environment that develops your child's early learning. Our goal is to provide an environment for your child to explore, create, and learn through structured learning and free play. We dedicate our time to help your child build their independence, confidence, socializing, and sharing. We offer fun activities throughout the day. We take walks to the park in our subdivision.

I offer a menu that follows the federal government nutrition guidelines provided to me through the food program; I provide Breakfast, Lunch, and PM snack.

I keep records on file for each child enrolled in my childcare home. I will provide you with any necessary paperwork that will need to be completed and needs to be in my possession before assuming the responsibility of caring for your child.
